What Are The Similarities Between Hannibal And Mao Zedong

There are many similar things between Hannibal Barca and Mao Zedong. First thing is that they were both a great leader. They did challenging and unbelievable journey to be successful. However, the reasons of their journey were both the same, escaping the enemy. They also lost most of the army by the journey, some of them were killed by people and the others by natural. Their journey was seem to be impossible but they both overcome it. For an instance, between the journey, Hannibal did the unbelievable task of building the huge rafts to ferry the elephants across River Rhones while Mao Zedong facing one of the worst experience which was crossing the Great Snowy Mountains and be able to pass through it with his army. These are the similarity
between them. If there are similar things, always it will have differences. They both grew in the different ways. Hannibal’s father was a general in the army while Mao Zedong’s father was just only illiterate farmer but ambitious. Their journey also has the different in distances, 2415 kilometers and 12500 kilometers. They also live in the different ages. The last thing that they are not the same is that their ending. Hannibal’s ending in the bad ways. He was finally defeated by his enemy and commit suicide in the age of 65 while Mao Zedong was be able to change every aspect of Chinese society and died in the age of 82.
