What Are The Similarities Between Lord Of The Flies And Mars Death
When comparing the two similar stories “Lord of the Flies” and “Lost”, one can see the similarities and the differences easily. When looking at and comparing the deaths of characters in both stories, more specifically the deaths of Piggy and Simon in the “Lord of the Flies” and the death of U.S. Marshall Edward Mars in “Lost”. You can compare the two situations by looking at the definition of murder which is, the unlawful, premeditated killing of one human being by another. While looking at the definition and the deaths and comparing them, in the death of U.S. Marshal Edward Mars was, by definition murder but I believe that it was an understandable thing to do. On the other hand, when dealing with the death of Piggy I believe it was murder.
