Ever read one of the most legendary books ever made. Well the two main characters of “Of Mice and men”, their lives will always be legendary from the actions they take and the consequences that will fall upon them. Violence, Innocence, Dreams, and Plans.
Dreams, and Plans
Our main characters had dreams of something other men couldn’t dream of, they dreamed of being on the farm together doing their own thing instead of doing others people work. The two wanted to be different from the others, wanted to have a difference in their lives. After Slim dog gave birth to little pups, Lennie notified George about his dream owning a little pup. George remembered and as promised got lennie the pup he wanted. The other dream I would say that was important was Candy’s dream. Candy dream was to be wanted, because due to him losing his hand he’s hasn’t been much helpful, and the other workers think he’s a waste of space. The reason why this is important is because it shows that our character has a warm heart.
Innocence …show more content…
Since he had a mental disability, he didn’t know how to stop like most people do. I also consider George to be innocent, because he hasn’t done anything from the beginning, he’s just been watching over for Lennie. Indeed Lennie done bad things that would lead to criminal charges, but George understands it wasn’t on purpose and helped Lennie escape from “Weed”. The last person that I would find innocent is Crooks, almost everyone at the farm doesn’t treat him with respect, mainly because of the color of his skin, the hate which caused him not to trust everyone. When Lennie came in Crooks room, Crook got angry, and started being mean Lennie. Although Crooks realized that LEnnie wasn’t like the others which eased Crooks more, and he started to like Lennie. Now these characters experienced bad situations but doesn’t actually make them bad
