Bruno is often over-looked when being compared to other artists because he has released such a lesser amount of content compared to the other artists at his level. Many popular singers, such as Drake, release new albums every two years, and occasionally every year. However, Bruno Mars took four years to release “24k Magic” after his second album “Unorthodox Jukebox”. Even though he anticipated that he would lose some of his fame during such a long break, he was willing to take the risk to ensure that he is supplying his fans with quality content, not quantity content. Many artists put fifteen to twenty songs on each of their albums, while Bruno only includes nine or ten. Nearly all current singers have made their goal to create the music that will bring them the maximum amount of publicity publicity. On the other hand, Bruno grew up listening to artists like Michael Jackson, Prince, and James Brown his whole life, and that is the style of music he enjoys and wants to create. He knows it is a risk to produce music like this in the modern day, but he does so anyways because he knows that those who understand the real purpose of music will appreciate his audacity to be so
