Stereotypes can include skin color, outfits, attitudes and even the color of natural hair. The blonde stereotype is one stereotype everyone is familiar with. This stereotype is seen all over the world in memes, pictures, books, and even television. This stereotype believes that every blonde is mean, spoiled, attracts men, dresses inconsiderately or stylish, unintelligent, goes shopping, and does not know how to accomplish big things in life that include being smart. When watching the beginning of the movie, Elle does not seem intelligent and very capable of doing things on her own. This impression occurs mainly because she is always with her friends and is very reliable towards her friends at her sorority. Then, by the time she decides to prove to her boyfriend that she is smart, the movie shows how blondes can be smart and not only dumb. Elle goes to law school and makes decent grades and eventually graduates by the end of the movie. Not only does the movie show that she's blonde and graduated from law school but, she remained true to herself. Elle was still girly, stylish, and had her blonde moments but, she also showed how she can achieve big things that people didn't think she could. For as long as I can remember i've been called the basic blonde. Im called the basic blonde because i'm girly, I go shopping, I have my blonde moments, and I love pink. When I watched this movie I had a close connection with it mainly because Elle and I have similar personalities. We are both girly, stylish, friendly, and energetic. When the movie begun to turn around and she started to prove to people that she is smart and that she can accomplish things, it inspired me to do that as well.
