After Marty gets sent back to 1955 he meets Dr. Emmet Brown when he was a little younger. When Marty tries to go back to the present time he can’t because he needs 14,000 gigawatts in order for the time machine to work. Doc tries to help fix the time machine to get Marty back to his time so he doesn’t mess up the past, which could alter the future. Marty then meets his future dad at the dinner where his dad is getting bullied by Biff, so “Marty tries to intervene and help him, which was a bad idea because then he had to try and escape from Biff or he would have then again gotten bullied for not thinking before doing something” (BTTF I). Luckily Marty gets away safely and his dad, McFly, is okay as well. This is the first place where Marty’s future mom first saw him for the first time and she thought he was hot, thus causing Loraine, his mom, to fall for him instead of McFly.
