What caused it?
The civil right movement causes lies in the experience and conditions of the black people during the 2nd world war. The many jobs that had previously been closed by the black workers were now available. The civil right movement majorly centered towards the south. That was where the majority of the African population was centered. In that region there existed inequality in economic opportunity, legal, education and legal and political system.in the 19th century the Jim Crow segregation laws were passed, these laws left the left the
black politically and economically powerless. This movement basically addressed three areas those are the education, voting rights and social segregation.
