What Caused The Feud In Romeo And Juliet
“My only love sprung from my only hate” (1,5,36) . This line comes from the famous Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare. This line is the beginning of Juliet's sadness, on how she could not love Romeo because he was not a Capulet. The feud between the families caused a lot of confusion. The deaths of Romeo,Tybalt, Mercutio, and Juliet were the cause of the feud. The fight in the streets was also caused by the feud. If the families were not fighting with each other, none of this would have happened.
One of the results of the feud is the death of Romeo and Juliet. “ O happy dagger! This is thy sheath; there rust,and let me die.”(5,3,170) Is the last words Juliet spoke before killing herself. Juliet killed herself after waking up from the sleeping potion, she had taken from Friar Lawrence. Juliet had woken up to find that Romeo had taken poison, and was laid out dead on the floor. She fell to her knees in tears, trying to get poison from Romeo's lip. When she found out that she couldn’t she took the dagger killing herself in sadness.

They would have a fight in the the street almost every week. The Prince had had enough and proclaimed that if, he had saw anyone in the street of a Montague or a Capulet would be sent to jail.
