Throughout history there have been numerous amounts of revolutions and without most of the revolutions that occurred the country wouldn’t be where it’s at today. Before we can elaborate on a specific revolution we must first define the meaning of “Revolution”, a revolution is an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed. The French revolution began in 1789 and was an important event in French history, ironically the French revolution was inspired by the American Revolution, this revolution marked the day that French nationalist could no longer take hardship from its government (limited monarchy) and rebelled against them. October. The French revolution main focus was to become a democracy and for food prices to go down. During this revolution the once famous monarchy came to an end allowing France to become a democracy this then ignited the French with great joy.
The French people had a number of causes for its rebellion against the French monarchy causing the French revolution such as, one major reason for the French revolution was in unfair gesture by the king the third estate had to pay all the taxes imposed by the king as the other estates were exempted from it.
The prices of bread rose to an expensive amount causing people with little money to starve and criminal activity to rise. Another cause for the French revolution was an unfair act of social justice which was that the king established three estates the first estate consisted of the clergy and the second consisted of nobles and the third estate consisted of peasants, business men and lawyers, they then made the third estate pay all the taxes which weren’t fear causing the people to
revolt.
One immediate affect from the French revolution according to (harveymac1336) was the nobles had to flee the country or face imprisonment or the guillotine. Another was the influence of the Church was greatly diminished. Also France found itself with war with every major power in Europe. One long term affect was napoleon finally become the emperor of france.
In conclusion the French revolution was a rather impacting revolution and a major factor on how France gained their independence and how the monarch was collapsed. Therefore all great revolutions including this one have complex cause or reason and often have an influential impact on the people who were involved.
