the turning point of this era. This brought a toll on the colonists. Britain started asking to much of the colonies, and they asked for weapons and supplies from the colonists. They never asked the colonist what they thought or asked permission. They were the rudest and most inconsiderate country of the time. They thought they were big and bad and that made other countries think that, too. The french and indian war brought the Proclamation of 1763. The indians kept Trying to to settle on British land that's when they started doing something about it. The colonist and the indians started working together and Britain did not like that. If the Britain wasn't so greedy their relationship probably won’t be so bad. That's why they started putting more and more laws starting with the proclamation of 1763. Honestly if the indians would have stayed off the lands even though they knew the lands and how they worked britain probably wouldn't have been so tough on them or the colonists.looking back on history makes it kind seem like it's the indians fault but honestly it's Britain's because if they wouldn't have been so greedy than the fight wouldn't have even happened and the laws wouldn't be in effect. If it wasn't the two countries wanting the same thing the war probably wouldn't even happened. Britain changed a lot when the Proclamation of 1763 came to act. They had to abandon the salutary neglect policy to make sure they were still in control of the colonies in the new world. Britain had a lot going after the war. They were in serious debt because of the others wars from the passed years that they were in. since they were in so much debt they started to taxing the colonists, so they basically started a monopoly. Britain was so unfair and rude and disrespectful and just used the colonists for battle against the French. Britain was never fair to the colonist even before they started colonies. If they were not a certain way they got sent to the new world. So honestly it's like they were out to get them in the beginning, so now being unfair wasn't anything new to the colonist. They were use to it but Britain took it to far and that's when the colonists took a stand. After the act came into play the natives thought the had no right to settle on the land and it wasn't just that their way of living was just fading away as more and more people started to move over. The Proclamation was the mother countries idea to stop all the conflicts or to prevent another one with the colonists or the indians. Britain's idea did not work it just made the colonists mad. The proclamation brought a great deal of conflicts and the colonists did not like that the mother country though threw this act would help control the colonies more. This started to ruin the relationship between the colonies and Britain economy. Economically the colonies had to start trading with only Britain so all their raw materials had to be shipped to the mother country before they were shipped anywhere else.
Britain put a heavy tax on all the raw materials and all the shipped goods and that made the colonists infuriated.Bristain thought since the money was to protect the british citizens and after the war the mother country was heavily taxed that the american colonies should be,too. So the colonists started fighting back. The colonists were tired of getting pushed around by Britain. Britain pushed and pushed and this made the colonists angry until one day they stop taking it and started fighting for their freedom. The colonists wanted more land and they were pushing westward to ohio valley. American was never the same after the war. The war brought more uprisings. The colonists kept on fightings because they were being treated poorly by their own country. Their taxes very unbelievably high. That did not sit well with the colonists at all. Britain thought that it help control them if they put more and more laws but they were wrong. For the first time the colonist started fighting for themselves. All they want was to be treated the right …show more content…
way. The only reason that Britain started taxing the colonists after the war was because the colonists did not want to be part of Britain anymore. Britain treated them so badly by raising the taxes on all the goods and making them only trade only with the mother country. Britain was so far in debt so they taxed the colonists so that they could pay off the war debts from the french and indian and other wars. When the Proclamation of 1763 abandon settlement western of the appalachian mountains it started a new conflict. The french and indian war just brought new problems with colonists. Britain thought that if they put more laws and started taxing the colonist that everything would go their way, but they were wrong. The colonist started to raise against the mother country. Since their relationship with the colonists is no longer there the mother country started putting many different acts into place and the colonist started getting fed up with the mother country. Britain did a lot of bad things after the french and indian war. Many relationships were ruin because of the greed that britain had after winning the war. They did not care for anyone that stood up for what they believe in. britain did everything in their power to mess up the colonists lives. That made the colonies fedup with them. That's what started more conflicts and more “war” and why they started fighting back at britain. They all decided to put a stop in britain's footsteps. They were fighting for their rights and they were now gonna stop until they were treated fairly. The colonist did everything for Britain in the past. Back in those days no one messed with britain but the colonists could not be dust brushed under a rug. They believed in freedom and that's what they wanted freedom from the mother country. They blamed Britain for everything that they went thru just to keep them happy. Everything that Britain did to the colonist was wrong for the start. First they treat them like slaves and use them to get supplies and weapons and they raise the taxes and that's when they colonist start to raise against the mother country. If the country would have stayed to themselves their relationship would not have been so bad. Britain wasn't the best country. They only cared about themselves. They were childish because they did not know how to share or treat people right. If they know how to work things out they probably wouldn't be a war over so territory. Honestly that was the most dumbest thing ever. Fighting over a river. Honestly they have not even moved western yet. So why even worry about it. Britain is the most power country and a lot of people were scared of them but not the colonists or the indians or the french because they fought against them in more ways than one.
The french and indian war did a lot of damage to the relationships of many countries but more to Britain and her american colonies and the people that live there, even though they are “ apart” of Britain for now. When the colonist started fighting for freedom from the mother country the mother country did not like that at all. They started to do everything in their power to make them pay for every little bit that made Britain look bad made them mad. The colonist did not care what Britain put at them they did everything they could to be free. That's all they wanted. They wanted nothing to do with Britain or their rules and laws. That's why the fought to the end. They got tired of getting pushed around by Britain. They did everything they could to get away from the power of Britain. The French and Indian war altered the relationship because Britain took advantage of the american colonist, and the colonist got tired of it. So they fought back. That's why america was never the same after the war. Britain caused all of it they were greedy and wanted all of
it.
