Although jack says “ I never been here” he gets deja vu. This is a really a big part of the scene because at the end of the movie it shows a picture of jack in the Overlook Hotel in 1921. Jack The specifically said that he was never there, he said it's going to feel right at home. There was a scene where a butler named Grady said that jack was the Overlooker but jack kept saying that he was but Jack didn't believe him. Jack was so afraid of killing his family when he had dreams of it. Jack played a big role in this film by having deja vu at the hotel, by being insane and the domestic violence. The shining is a very good film, kubrick’s great ideas on this movie led to a saturn award for best supporting actors. Jack having to do with the Overlook Hotel, this hotel was built over a native american burial and lots of natives died. A scene that was played throughout the film was blood coming out of the elevator and flooding the hotel this blood was from the natives that were buried under the hotel and the native trying to protect
