What do wisdom teeth look like?
A lot of people are questioning what does a wisdom tooth look like and be surprise to know that it is actually the same as with our other regular teeth once it erupts correctly. However, problems with wisdom teeth may lead to different distinction.

This means that it has partially erupted and will look like half tooth coming out from your gum line. A partially erupted wisdom tooth is a risk to develop infection because its opening can become an entryway of bacteria and germs.
There are also different appearances of wisdom teeth especially if they are angled differently. If they are angled at odd manners, they are directed and will move differently too such as forward, backward, or even sideways.
Where can I locate my wisdom teeth?
Wisdom teeth are also known as third molars. These third molars are the last and final teeth to erupt. It will appear at the far-end corners of your mouth, one at each side of the upper and lower jaw.
Normally, there are between 1-4 wisdom teeth that can grow in total at these sites. However, there are also instances where none or more teeth will erupt. Extra teeth are called as supernumerary teeth and may often be related to hyperdontia. While a single excess tooth is a little bit common, have more than one excess wisdom tooth is considered very rare.
