Germany under the rule of the Fuhrer Hitler, his rule had positive and negative effects on the German people during his reign. Hitler came into power when the weak Weimar republic were giving into the Treaty of Versailles, this only made the republic weaker and causing them to lose their army and their money. Germany tried to find a stronger leader who could lead them out of depression during the time of the treaty, when Hitler came into power he created the Nazi party who convinced the public that they could fix the problems in Germany. When the Nazi party was in power they helped the unemployment rate go down and the employment rate go up, Germany could finally come out of the Great Depression and try and become a great power. …show more content…
Hitler helped to get everyone jobs and reduced the unemployment rate from 6 million people to complete nothing. Another major positive Hitler provided to the people of Germany was the construction of the great highway called the autobahn. The autobahn was built between 1913-1921 and it was then completed in 1923 and now stretches to a great length of 11,000 km (6,800 miles). Hitler did not only create the autobahn but he got Germany out of the state of depression before any other country came out of the effect of the great wall street crash, but they were not out of paying back debt to Europe. Hitler promised the German people that he would demolish the communist activities that take place in Germany and with the Nazi party having so many followers this seemed to make the people happy, but the SA only carried this out. Being most of the SA soldiers were once unemployed men they were sent to the streets with weapons ranging from knives to knuckleduster they would have wiped out the communists threat.
