I had just unlocked my car door when the bushes behind me stirred. And out stepped a man how was obviously a heavy user of drugs. Black teeth, to match the dark circles under his eyes, blotchy skin the hugged a skull that did not have too much meat on it. He was lanky and tall about five foot ten inches, making him six inches taller than me. But the truly disturbing thig about him was the pistol in his hand. " Stoop talkins and Gis me yos munny." I was beginning to wonder if listening to his horrible English could was making me lose brain cells. I choose to ignore the gibberish he was speaking and opened the car door and slowly pulled out my wallet. I just watched and wated with my hands in the air with he fumbled on the ground looking blind for the wallet since he was not taking his eyes off me.
He finally found it was started to stand up when something stupid happened. A second drug addict stepped out of the bushes while saying very loudly. " Did you get it." Startling the man with the gun just enough that he pulled the trigger. From my perspective it seemed time slowed down, not in I could move super-fast just everything happened in slow motion, and I was helpless to stop
