What I Learned In My English 1102 Class

Writing was extremely difficult for me when I was younger, mainly because the great ideas I had in my head would not sound so great when I wrote them down on paper. It would sound so perfect to me, yet didn’t make any sense to someone else. Also, I dislike writing for the simple fact that there are a lot of rules to it. Throughout my high school years, I was a poor writer, and it came to my attention in my English 1101 class last year. I failed it the first time, because of not knowing how to get my thoughts to come together without them being all over the place. Retaking that course has really helped me get more focused on my writing skills.
