There was a purse in it, as big as a bag to Biblo ‘Ha’ thought he, warming to his new work as he lifted it carefully out, ‘this is a beginning!’” (Tolkien 36). The trolls have a speaking wallet in the book that makes the trolls look back at Bilbo and this in turn makes the trolls capture Bilbo and the Dwarves. In the movie Jackson makes Biblo a tissue. The trolls wipe their boogers all over Bilbo. They also think Bilbo is a live “squirrel” (Jackson). So the trolls freak out and that makes some audiences laugh.
