The Belt of Truth
Daniel 3:1-25
This verse tells us about the time that Daniel stood fast in his faith and the result of his unwavering faith in God. The King told Daniel to bow down and worship him and he refused. Daniel instead prayed to God for guidance and assistance. Daniel’s refusal to obey angered the King; therefore the King then threw Daniel into a fiery furnace. Daniel was not injured in the furnace because God sent angels, down from heaven, to protect him. Daniel continued to praise God and speak Gods truth.
The Shield of Faith
Exodus 13:17-22
This verse explains to us about the time that God protected the Israelites from the Egyptians. God protected them by parting the Nile River for them to allow them to escape. The Israelites were forced out of Egypt by the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh had a very cold heart. The Israelites ran in the night but they were followed by the Egyptian Army, sent by the Pharaoh. The Israelites were able to cross the Nile as God parted it for them. God closed the Nile on the Egyptian Army. The Breastplate of Righteousness
I Samuel 17
This passage recounts the story of how Daniel stood up against Goliath.
Despite Daniel’s size, he was much smaller and shorter than Goliath, he was not afraid to confront Goliath. Daniel trusted in God and the righteousness of his goals. Daniel was confident in his faith and that God would provide a victory for Israel. God did provide a victory for Israel. Through this factory God protected Daniel and the Israelites.
The Sword of Spirit

This verse tells us the story of Abraham and Sarah and their desire to have a son. They both pray vigorously to God and promise their son to do his works. Finally, God blessed them with a son and they gave him back to God. God blessed him and used him to be a great leader of Israel. He later used their son to defend Israel by the Sword of the Spirit.
The Gospel of Peace
Judges 6-7
This passage tells about the life of a man of God, by the name of Gideon. Gideon used the Gospel and spoke justly for peace and love. Gideon tried to stop Israel and Median from fighting by telling them the Gospel. This stopped them from fighting for a long period of time. He is a prophet of peace for all people. He used the gospel of Peace to tell them the truth of God and tell them His wonders.
What is one way you can use the Armor of God in your daily life?
The Armor of God is essential in our daily lives. Truthfulness and honesty as taught by God is the blueprint of interacting with all people. Our faith in God and his teachings are the cornerstone of all our actions and reactions to the world around us. Standing up for our beliefs and what we know is right is how we should act in our lives. The Sword of the Sprit is the power of Gods words that we can use to fight against lies and acts of people who do not follow God. The Gospel of Peace will allow us to stay fast in our love of Jesus and resist others who would have us believe that Jesus is not the son of Christ and our Savoir. Praying for God’s Armor in our daily prayers helps us to live in the world by his Word.
