The first perspective shows how unstable and unsustainable the Earth’s resources are and that North America’s rate of production and consumption is double that of the closest consumer area. It shows that the Earth’s resources are in serious danger of being used up especially for countries that have already developed. Less developed counties such as Africa and China can be sustained on Earth even though their population is much greater than all the developed countries combined. North America per capita on average has a much higher standard of living and consumption compared with other countries because of the bountiful resources such as gas and oil that are exported to other countries. When these governments and businesses use and disrupt significant areas of forests or other natural biomes for their endeavours, such as digging coal and natural resources out of the soil, the enviromental removing entire forests and turning the area into a habitat resembling that of barren planets. All the while the corporations responsible for this are some of the wealthiest and most powerful in the world. There need to be a balance between man and the Earth. There must be ways through developing technology and structural adjustment before the balance and ensured stability for survival tips back to the enviroment humans depend
