The Responsibility Project: Ethics Game Dilemmas
Ethics are principles, which outline moral values and rules regardless if it is in a working environment or not. Each employee has a personal responsibility to uphold the rules and regulations set forth by the company. Within this essay will be discussed the Mysterious blogger and the Veiled ID and the ethical situation surrounding this scenario. Furthermore my personal response to the story, the ethical issues, decision making steps, ethical perspectives.

As a manager of a company, it is the responsibility to hold everyone accountable for their actions. According to Gaikwad (2011) “Loyalty or faithfulness towards work builds a sense of trust amongst employees and the employer. The role of loyalty is an important one while nurturing an ethical workplace.” While in the particular scenario, Jamal Moore acted on his own to show Aaron Webb had violated the NDA. The problem is that both parties were wrong in a sense and should have been punished accordingly. Originally, the decision was to use the information provided to fire Aaron Webb for violating the NDA and simply discipline Jamal Moore for illegally obtaining the information; however in the end, the decision was changed to discipline both individuals for their actions.
