The readers and audience could foreshadow the epic quest when Dobby came to Happy Potter’s house to warn him not to come back to Hogwarts or else bad things would happen, and Dobby revealed that he had Harry’s letters from his friends. This proved that there was something bad awaiting for Harry at Hogwarts, but that didn’t stop him from going that summer. It was known that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened, and it would purge all the enemies of the heir. Harry, Ron, and Hermione went through many tests and trials to discover the heir of the Chamber of Secrets. One of the biggest challenges included when Harry’s mentor, Hagrid, got sentenced to prison for opening the chamber. Hagrid told Harry to “follow the spiders.” This was a tough challenge, but through the epic quest, Harry and his friends proved Hagrid’s innocence by talking to a giant spider in the forest. The trio found the real heir of the chamber to be Tom Riddle, and he used the diary as a trick. At the end of the day, Harry, as the epic hero, saved Hogwarts for the second time and proclaimed himself as a truly amazing and powerful wizard. This was a legendary tradition at Hogwarts where three schools compete in three deadly competitions, and one will be declared winner. The Goblet of fire was only supposed to pick three winners, but Harry Potter happened to be picked as the fourth winner. He was under aged to compete in this competition. As the epic quest went on, the first challenge came up. The selected champions had to bring back a golden egg that was being guarded by a dragon. The competitors were supposed to go there on a broomstick, and Harry attained first place in this challenge without any hurdles. The second challenge was that the remaining competitors had to find a date to the grand ball, which was a ritual at Hogwarts, and they had to jump underwater to rescue their dates. Harry got third place in this competition, behind Cedric. The final challenge that the competitors must face was entering a maze to get to the Triwizard Cup. Harry and Cedric found the cup at the exact same time, and both of them got transported into a graveyard, where Voldemort was waiting for their deaths. Voldemort killed Cedric, but was not able to kill Harry Potter. The epic hero found out that he was purposely entered into the competition by one of Voldemort’s followers.
