Through history there was always been a very important segment of our population that is living in less than flawless living conditions. “Some of the first written accounts of homelessness are seen from as far back as the middle ages” (Cope, 1990). It would be predicted that during this time period of abundance, there wouldn't be individuals without food or shelter. Sadly, there are millions of people who go without a proper place to lay their head and a decent meal. Homelessness is so inconsistent to the conditions that most people tend to find themselves in, our society tends to be brush off the idea of homelessness.
