This helped me to understand her ‘hang ups’ as most teenage girls have a cool dad to help them out, should they ask. In my opinion this shows that Josie is starting to develop feelings towards Michael as she has depended on him. Also Michael had to leave work to help her. He’s not used to being a dad but came anyway. This shows that he too, is starting to warm to the idea of a new family member. Their relationship takes off from
