Curie was introduced to Miss. Sklodowska, he (Mr. Curie) was surprised at the young scientist was indeed a female. Along with this thought Mr. Curie had a strong belief that females cannot do science or physics and that females hold back scientists from ever getting their work completed. These words were spoken to Mr. Curie’s assistant who agrees with Mr. Curie until finally meeting Miss. Sklodowska, which he soon falls head over heels for. Mr. Curie also mentioned about how Miss. Sklodowska was becoming a mere distraction to him and his assistant. That is until Mr. Curie walks Miss. Sklodowska home in the rain and discovers how brilliant she is while discussing physics and formulas, and is fascinated by her thoughts/ ideas. The next morning when Miss. Sklodowska comes to the science lab, Mr. Curie gives Miss. Sklodowska a copy of his book with an autography and a special message for her. Soon Miss. Sklodowska informers him (being Mr. Curie) that she will be leaving soon after getting her degree from the collage of physics of Paris. Mr. Curie is struck dumb from the alarming news and tries to convince Miss. Curie to stay in Paris. Miss. Sklodowska soon is convinced to go to Mr.Curie’s house with him and ends up being proposed to. Miss. Sklodowska gets married at Mr.curie’s parents house. Mrs. Curie gets a labritory that is in poor condition but Mrs. Curie is happy to accept. Mrs. Curie still needs to separate barium and radium. Mrs. Curie refuses to give up after
