What Is My Cultural Identity
Culture to me is what I believe in and things we do in my family one of the things that makes up my culture is soccer and family. When you told us that we have to write about our cultural identity and talk about things that make us up, I was thinking what I am going to be talking about. I took some time and thought what makes me up and I realized the things that make me up are School, Soccer, and Family. I am going to be talking about how music and soccer and family all make my cultural identity and make up who I am.

One thing that is very important to me that makes up my cultural identity is family. Family is important to me because even though sometimes they make you mad at the end of the day family is going to be the only thing you are going to do and my parents have gave up so much just to give me a roof and food and a place to sleep and I am grateful for that and family. My family reveals the good in me and it keeps me going everything I do is to get ready for when I get a family to be able to give them food and a place to live. Soccer is important to me because it is the only time I can express myself from all the stress and things going on around me. Soccer reveals all the stress anger and enjoyment I have when I am off the field I am a different person then when I am when I am on the field. Soccer makes up a part of my cultural identity because when I play soccer that’s the only time I get to let everything out and really show who I am and that’s one of the only times part of my cultural identity is out. Soccer also shapes up who I am because when I play the sport I kinda shut everything out around me that’s happening when I play and I just try to focus on what’s happening around

For those who don’t know what I’m holding, this right here established the foundation of my childhood, culture, and future. You guys thought I was going to keep it simple and say, “It’s just a soccer ball” well yes it is but to me it’s so much more than that. Lets begin with saying soccer is universal. There is so much more than running non-stop for 90 minutes and going up and down a field chasing a ball. Since I cant speak for everyone in the room and I don’t have super powers to read peoples mind, to me, soccer builds our character, holds families together, and brings a divided world into one.…
