What Is Political Correctness

The term “Political Correct” has been in this world’s vocabulary for some time now, but it has adjusted the way that Americans view life and the way that each of us interact with one another. Politically Correct is the thought of people being careful to not use terminology or behave in a way that could provoke a specific group of people. Society today is dictated by political correctness in our everyday lives. Today, individuals have to be careful with the words that they say because many people sometimes take it as being offensive or discriminatory. In other words, some Americans are taken political correctness to be too serious. The United States is not using too much political correctness. Many say that when the term political correctness is being thrown around, it is usually meant to be hurtful and offensive, but everyone in the United States is entitled to say what they want due to Freedom of Speech. Every American is given the right to speak their minds and give their opinion on anything they want to express. Nowadays, people pick at everything a person says and thinks it is offensive, although they do not mean any abuse. In other words, how can individuals speak their mind if they are constantly trying to make sure they are not
angering anyone. In the United States, Americans have every right to speak and express themselves without having to be worried with political correctness. Language helps individuals look at the world in a way that they think not being too politically correct can leave an impact on others.
Usually, many people hear that they are being too politically correct, but most of the time they are just being polite. Honesty is the best policy after all. Political correctness is a term that is being thrown around many times as being offensive, but what people do not know is that they are just being honest with the language they use toward others. Political correctness is taken in the wrong way but what people need to start realizing is that no matter what is being said to try to put a stop in political correctness, Americans are always going to be honest with what they want to tell
others. America can never be a bias-free country. Lets be serious America can never be a country that is polite to everyone without not saying one mean thing. Individuals will never give up their rights to say whatever they want because they will never try to be nice to anyone if they feel they need to say something. Regardless of what the government wants and what others feel, people will always judge and say hurtful things to others because it is just the way America is. America is a bias country with no filter whatsoever because if Americans did have a filter then America would not be the way it is today. To sum it all up, political correctness is not being used too much in the United States. If anything, political correctness is being used just right. Although, many feel that political correctness is being used too often, it really is not. It is just the way people are using their freedom of speech and saying whatever they wish. Political correctness is another way of saying people are being honest with their opinions, they are not trying to put any harm with what they are saying to someone, but even if they are one can not stop another with stating the truth. Overall, political correctness is a big vocabulary word that many wish people would stop using, but lets all be serious, America is a bias country that will always state what their minds want. So although many think political correctness is being used a lot, it really is not it is just the right amount because no matter what people will always say what they want regardless of what anyone says.
