1. How is positive parenting different from negative parenting? Which do you think is more effective? Why? Positive parenting is when you catch your child being good; paying attention to the good behavior is the trick to positive parenting instead of the bad. Negative parenting is when you scream and shout at your child. I think Positive parenting is more affective because if a child acknowledges that there parents are not so aggressive and what they would call mean they will do the right thing.
2. Do you think children should have more rules or fewer rules in the home? Why? I think fewer rules should be in the house only if you are dealing with younger children. Young children will not remember all the rules, if you throw tons of rules at them. Giving the child 2-3 rules that’s clear will be reasonable, that’s something a child will be able to remember.
3. How would you deal with a situation of biting? Do you think your approach would fit into a “positive parenting” framework? Why or why not? You have to get down to your child eye level and tell them it is not right in a tone of voice that they will know you are serious. Approaching the situation into a positive parenting fit is the correct way. By approaching the situation the correct way later on when the child is not biting you will award them for not doing it.

Some of them are being worried if they are going to drop there baby, holding the baby properly and knowing if they should breast feed the baby or not.
2. Why do you think people have become so caught up in the details rather than in basic parenting? People get caught up in the details rather than in the basic parenting because there is so much information out there and you get different piece of advice from every person. Now days the market are selling things that are unnecessary that will attract new parents. They sell things like baby wipes warmer, which is really unnecessary.
3. How can you know if a baby is happy? If a baby is not crying you know the baby is happy. In order to keep you baby happy you would have to make sure they are well fed. Make sure your baby does not need there diaper change doing these things will keep your baby happy and prevent the crying.
4. Why do you think crying is so stressful for parents? When a baby is crying it makes it stressful for a parent because they have to figure out why the baby is crying. Sometimes you would have to go through a lot just to figure out what’s wrong. Parents also get stressed out when a baby is crying if they have a lot on their plate as it is and the baby doesn’t make it any better.
5. How do you think you would do as a new parent? What challenges do you think you’d face? I think I would do fantastic as a parent. The biggest challenge I would have to face is being there for my child physically while also trying to be at work to provide for my child. Paying for a babysitter will probably help me so I don’t have to stress out about the situation.
