What is Psychology and why is important to learn about psychology? What do you hope to learn / gain from this class? How would you like this class to help you in your current job or in a future profession? Why are you taking this course? Please include basic information about yourself such as where you live, family, job, interests, hobbies, your goals and ambitions, etc.
A little information about me, I am a 29 year old wife and mother of three; I am originally from Monroe, Louisiana. I move to Fairbanks, Alaska with my youngest aunt February 2005. I didn’t plan on staying in Fairbanks that long but shortly after moving here I meet the man that would be my husband. We married May 2007 and have 3 beautiful children together Kyndall, Kynleigh and Jonathan Jr. I am currently working at Fairbanks Native Association as an Education Coordinator for the Behavioral Health Department. We attend church services weekly at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church there I am a member of the Praise and Worship team and I am also the Praise Dance Ministry Director. My husband is the Minister of Music and drummer for the church and my father in law is the founder and Pastor. We love attending church and being active in the church. We all have a great passion to serve the Lord. I enjoy spending time with my family. We all enjoy going to the movies, dining out, playing sports and making music. Our family is very close and loyal to each other. Just recently we added a new addition to our family, a Chow dog, named Kane. In the next five years I plan to open up my own business and earned my bachelor’s degree.
