In the Islamic religion there are certain things, words and actions that are considered sacred. some of things may included: Allah, the Qur’an, and the Shahada. These are the three main Sacred things the religion of Islam. In the Islamic faith there are about two main Scared writing these are the Qur’an and the Hadith. These texts are both, as believed by Muslims, said to be from the prophet Muhammad whom they strive to be as.
Allah is the one, unique, all-powerful and only God to Muslims. Allah is revealer, sustainer, and master of the Universe and this affirms God’s monotheism. In the Islamic faith there are no other Gods except for Allah. BBC says “Allah is the name Muslims use for the supreme and unique God, who created and rules everything.” Muslims believe that Allah is Sacred because we was and is the first cause. He created everything that they today believe in. They also believe that Allah is eternal, omniscient, and omnipotent. Eternal meaning that Allah has always been present since the beginning of time and he will always exist. Omniscient meaning the Allah knows everything, everything that has happened, everything that will happen. Omnipotent meaning that Allah is all powerful, and he has power to do anything. In the Qur’an Allah in one of the first words. The Qur’an starts with “In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, and the Most Merciful,” The Qur’an shows how important Allah is to Muslims. “The struggle to surrender to the will of Allah is the goal of Muslim’s life and they learn to interpret it mainly from the Qur’an.” (From Class Article). Muslims believe that they should worship only Allah and that they should strive to be like the prophets.
