They focus more on the interior part than the exterior designs of the church. The interior decoration of the church has several mosaic arts, relics, columns for the altar, and stain glass. There are a total of three relics, one on the far right side of the aisle in front which is Mary carrying baby Jesus. Then there are two at the altar all the way at the front. Mosaic art that can be found all over the church has one on common. It has Christ as the main subject for most of them. There are several other figures such as St. Francis because there are animals surrounding him. Mary, Martha and John surrounding Christ as he was being crucified. St. Peter holding a scroll. One that looks like a rapture, and the other looks like it was the second coming of Christ. The apse looks like a semi-circle dome that was decorated by mosaic art on top. Its showing Christ sitting on a thrown and people extending their hands to him. It has a one-barrel vault, that was invented by the Romans. Along the aisle you can see the story of Christ before he was crucified by the Romans in a stain glass medium. Overall Saint Philip church has an incredible architectural and art designs influenced by several year ago. From the Persians all the way to Gothic era, this church covered mostly all the ear when it comes to its magnificent design. Some are bombarded with embellishments and some are simple.
