For example in the book “Night” There are many cases where someone dies and their loved ones give up. Eli says that his only motivation is his father. His father is what is keeping him alive. If Eli’s father would have given up, then maybe Elie would have also. The many months they stayed at the concentration camp would sometimes question whether they actually wanted to keep on fighting. Elie and his father would refuse to believe that this monstrous act wouldn’t end. Because Elie fought and was able to survive, He has had a huge impact on many people who have read his book. The young boys surviving on a stranded boat with a tiger, grows closer to the tiger and survives through very harsh conditions. Although the tiger refuses for the young boy to get close to it, The boy is the only reason that the tiger is able to survive. The tiger is fed and taken care of. This shows why survival should be our goal. If He would have given up, then the tiger would have no chance of survival. This shows how living can have an impact on someone and how survival can keep from another life being taken
