Good initiative Steward, I am encouraged by your input and how it ended up being a practice in the institution. The nurses at the point of care have a great opportunity to implement and evaluate care and can conduct reviews trends on care outcome and make necessary proposal. Most institutions are now incorporating the nurses in shared governance committees, a decision that should encourage all of us to critique what we do and never again shy away from voicing our recommendations.
