One of the most prominent scientist during this revolution was Isaac Newton. He published the book Principia Mathematica after his study of light, gravity and mathematics. Newton was the first scientist to discover gravitational force after a long night of thinking about moon’s orbit. "And therefore that force by which the moon is kept in its orbit is the very one that we generally call gravity." (Journal of the History of Philosophy). In the text above Newton wondered why the moon was in constant motion around its orbit. This experiment led him to discover the force between the moon and its orbit called gravity.
