The High Enlightenment was the middle years of The Enlightenment, it was a time where Enlightenment philosophers created the bulk of their ideas, this is also a time of extreme religious changes. Religions like Christianity and Judaism looked to justify their beliefs along more rational lines as skepticism was becoming more widely accepted.
