After worry from her family caused an investigation for a missing person, until she was found dead. The missing person case now became a homicide and the search for the killer began. The mystery behind the death of Chandra Levy can be summed up in two theories: an illegal immigrant attack or condit's mistake in murder. The victim, Chandra Levy, a 24-year-old girl who mysteriously disappeared and was later found dead in a nearby park. Levy a discovery was made in Rock Creek Park. May 22, 2002, a man was jogging through Rock Creek Park when he spotted a piece of clothing and a half-buried human skull (Katz 1). To follow that discovery, “Police decided to interview Ingmar Guandique, illegal immigrant, who lived near Rock Creek Park and had failed to show up for work at the time of Levy’s disappearance” (Katz 1).
