What Is The Reenactment In Romeo And Juliet
Across generations, the tragedy Romeo and Juliet, written by Shakespeare, has been portrayed and reenacted many times into Broadway plays, blockbuster movies, and even best selling novels. Regardless of the age, generation, and/or era in each reenactment the story/plot always conveyed the same classic theme about love and how strong love can it be. Act I Scene V, is such an iconic moment for every reenactment of Romeo and Juliet. Whether this scene is spoken in Shakespearian language such as Baz Lurmann version of Romeo and Juliet (Rome + Juliet), modern language like “Gnomeo & Juliet”, or my groups’ reenactment of this scene using slang.
