The characters is this story are jay Gatsby and walter chrysler the founder of Chrysler automotive company.This story takes place in New York City.The action begins when I meet Jay Gatsby and I realized how interested he is in car and the automotive industry.Then,I tell Jay that I'm the inventor of chrysler. Next we started speaking about cars. Gatsby started telling me about his amazing car collection he has in west egg where he currently lives. Gatsby told me he has never owned a Chrysler car befor so i told him that i would be more than happy introduce him the the Chrysler brand. Gatsby was interested in that idea and he wanted to meet tomorrow. Gatsby asked me what car it is. I answered him back and i said it is the Chrysler (Six). Gatsby …show more content…
Farewell Mr.Gatsby i will see you tomorrow bye bye.Gatsby replies bye bye. I was somewhat offended of what Jay said about the car i worked on so hard. It's the next day and i meet Jay is one of my Chrysler workshops i had in New York City. Jay Gatsby was late to our appointment. That kind of changed my mood to an extent. Jay Gatsby arrived to my Workshop. We started with a cup of coffee and then we moved into speaking about the car. I started our conversation with some background about Chrysler. I said this brand is an affordable "luxury" vehicles known for innovative and top-flight engineering. We were speaking about the Chrysler (Six) yesterday that you don’t really like. Gatsby says yes that is correct i don't really think it's a good car. I told him would you like to hear the specification about the Chrysler (Six).Gatsby replies and says yes. I started telling him about the car the Chrysler Six, it is priced at $1,565 that has two significant new features a light, powerful, high compression six-cylinder engine and the first time hydraulic four-wheel brakes were put and used on a …show more content…
Gatsby was surprised about the specifications of the car. Gatsby was really pumped to see the car after he heard all this good stuff about the Chrysler Six. Gatsby says are you ready old sport? I reply yes. I then ask him are you ready? He also replies yes. So we step out of my office to take a look at the Chrysler Six. I look at a random car at my dealership and i say let's check out this one. He answers me back and he says why did you chose this car in particular? I answer him back with a weird face what do you mean? He says you know that is my favorite color. I reply back well that worked out well. Let's check out the car. We get into the car and Gatsby looks really impressed. I ask Gatsby what do u think about the interior of the car. Gatsby says i'm really impressed with the interior of the car. I say that’s nice to hear. I ask Gatsby if he would like to go on a test drive because he looked interested in this car. Gatsby agrees. We start the test drive he starts with saying how he loves the color of the car which is the color yellow and the color yellow resembles

This society has the characteristics of an egotist and one who pays no attention the character of themselves. Fitzgerald's style influences the reader to portray this era as a carefree "do what feels good" society. However, Fitzgerald introduces the countless number of tragedies that take place. Through diction, imagery, and details Fitzgerald creates a morose tone. The writer evokes the reader's feelings through particular words and their meanings. In the phrase, ". . . Finally, the scene in which the unidentified man comes to pay his respects helps the reader view Gatsby through a different perspective. These significant sequences give the reader better understanding of the morose tone and the emotional state of Jay Gatsby.
