The Supply Support Activity also known in the supply world as the SSA is the principal way to order all types of tools, parts, supply items and any other stuff the company or unit will required. In the company supply level these orders can be place in several ways. Most items are already loaded into the system and all that is needed is to enter the National Stock Number (NSN), if by any reason the National Stock Number cannot be found, a user created upload can be done by fed-loging the item or looking it up on sites such as webflis. A walk-thru can also be done by completing a DA Form 2765-1. The Supply Support Activity will track all these items in their box and hand out monthly or bi-monthly Reconciliation Reports. The Reconciliation Report also shows the status of the items that are ordered. Different set of letters mean different things, for example; BB…

The UDC was one such group that historian David Blight believes was fighting for control of historical interpretation during what he calls the second era of the Lost Cause. If there is any one point by the United Daughters of the Confederacy that displayed their support of the Lost Cause, Caroline Janney provides the example with the women’s intent to commemorate the faithful slaves “when they pressed for the erection of a national faithful slave monument.” Janney is showing how the South tried to impart a belief that this type of monument would show how slave owners valued and respected the slave. Even though the women avoided discussing race, Janney explains, the women went out of their way to praise the African Americans but only in the…

“Restorative Practices are a framework for building community and for responding to challenging behavior through authentic dialogue, coming to understanding, and making things right” (Clifford, n.d.). The fundamental hypothesis of restorative practices is that “Human beings are happiest, healthiest, and most likely to make positive changes in their behavior when those in authority do things with them rather than to them or for them” (Wachtel, 2013, p. 3 & 6). This fundamental hypothesis can be described as the With domain in the Social Discipline Window (Figure 1) (Watchel & McCold, 2000). Moreover, fair process, where all individuals are involved is key to the restorative process. The three principals of fair…

The moral recovery program is a program that encourages members of the public to live in a moral and correct way. The program does have religious connections, but is more about rebuilding a 'people nation' and retaining a sense of community spirit. The moral recovery program takes place in the Philippines. Viollet-le-Duc is best known for his extensive restoration projects throughout the 19th century. His portfolio contains a long list of projects that were done in the Gothic Revival style, however he designed and restored buildings in a variety of other architectural styles.
