I figure I had about the same amount of sexual information as you did, since I grew up in the 80's early 90's. I did not have much sexual education, especially since I was an extremely early bloomer. I started going through puberty early on in 3rd grade and had started menstruation in 4th grade. Any knowledge I gained about sex and puberty was from my older friends. I was never one to hang around people my age; many of my friends were at least 2 to 3 years older than I. Of course, beings that they were children themselves, the knowledge I gained was not factual. My parent did not talk to me about puberty and sex. In fifth grade, my school had the sexual education program; however, that was too late to discuss puberty with me since I had already gone through the body and mind changes of puberty.
