What Is The Theme Of Citizenship Troopers

The Starship Troopers is a science fiction movie that explore different types of themes over the movie. The novel extend from the political magnitude until the exploration of the sociopolitical believes and the moral of philosophy. The movie shows the fear of the main actor Juan Rico that was a civilian student from Argentina and become a soldier. Moreover, the Earth at the time was in war with creatures from a different Galaxy and they were trying to control the world.

The movie shows different kind of fears. It starts when they were in high school and the class need to of a bug and as the teacher said, anyone knows when they will face the monsters. Then they have to decide what was the position that each one was going to follow in the army, not actually the United State Army, but the Terran Federation Mobile Infantry. However, the first big fear of Juan Rico was to
lose his girlfriend that was jointing other special team. Also, it shows the fear of his father that was a veteran in his child facing a war against the monster. Moreover, the movie shows the fear of the soldiers fighting against the gigantic bugs. For example, the part that the troop save the General and he was afraid of the bug gets the information of his brain.

The movie intended to be a parody because it shows a world with super soldiers that could save the world from any treat and also demonstrate a fascist society behind the history.
However, it ends to be a satire between the sociopolitical system faced with the threat of the war.

The movie is ironic when they show the earth been invaded by gigantic bug that can kill everything in their front. In my point of view, I could distinguish when it was ironic and when it was not, for example the part that Juan Rico try to safe his girlfriend. Every soldier that have the feeling on the war gets determined to protect yourself and also his partners.

The relationship between the characters and the media revolves around that population need to get involve in the war against the monster and they need to protect the world from the invasion, as the movie says, “"The only good bug is a dead bug!". Therefore, the technology involves a prediction how was going to be nowadays. For example, they show tablets, web design features, voice recognition, “FaceTime”, when they could talk live and some technologies that we
have.

According to the movie the difference of a citizen and a civilian is a “citizen accept personal responsibility for the safety of the body politic defending it with his life and a civilian is not” and still according to the movie, “a citizen has the courage to make the safety of the human race their personal responsibility”. However, in my opinion citizen is the person who just with their daily duties of work, study and paying their taxes. Now a civilian is a person with a military or a police service duties and they need to protect the population.
