The basis for the writing of this film was from Williamson watching a news story about the grisly murders by the Gainesville Ripper. He dislikes how she appears to be squinting in every scene that she's in. All he would say in general is how she isn't a good actress. My dads favorite character is Officer Dewey played by David Arquette. The first time he saw the movie he didn't like Dewey, but the second time around he started to appreciate him more and enjoyed his character throughout the series. I do agree that Campbell does seem to squint quite bit in some scenes overall though, I think she's a decent actress.
