What Is Worth The Cost Of A College Education Essay

College is always a talked about topic in the lives of students. Most importantly, the cost of college and if going through all the financial trouble is worth it. As a student myself, these thoughts are running through my mind as well. College degrees can obviously be very beneficial to futures of all students, even if the line of work they want to go into doesn’t require a degree, it can still put one above the list of others. College education is worth the tuition and hard work because it brings social advances, higher salaries, and their thinking processes/abilities. Tuition can be a main reason why families and students are on the fence about if college is right for them, but “...many colleges are not very expensive, once financial aid is taken into account” (Source D). Financial aid and scholarships can bring a college tuition down by even thousands of dollars, but many don’t take advantage of this which is why their tuition can seem a burden. When students don’t choose to attend college after graduating high school, many of them get lost on what their next step is, because there is no essential path for them to follow. While students are mostly raised without knowledge or ideas about not attending school, that is okay because, “education seems to make people happier and healthier,” (Source D) which means the practical thing to do is continue that and head off to college. “Both the cost and demand for a college education have grown significantly in the years” (Source E), so this shows that students have an interest in college, and if it really wasn’t worth the time, effort, and money, students would not have the desire to
