After Graduate School, I hope to have my PhD in psychology or my doctorate in psychiatry. I would like to start out working in jails, talking to criminals and analyzing their brains versus the brain of an average adult to study how the brain reacts with criminal activity and why they do and feel what they do. I have heard that a person can not do that type of work for very long because it is emotionally tasking so after that, I would like to open my own counseling practice up. I would do either marriage and family therapy or focus on teenage depression. Eventually, I would like to retire into school psychology or become a psychology teacher. Also, if I ever have enough money, I will buy a house devoted to taking in stray animals…

WOW! Where do I start? First I will give you a little history about myself. I have always been and have always wanted to be a nurse. I started caring for people when I was 10 or 12 years old I guess? My Granny she was a brittle diabetic, and she was also confined to a wheelchair since 1955. My Mom was real sickly as well so it was my responsibility to care for the house as well as my Great-Grandmother (My Granny) She was my Heart and Soul, (My Life)! I cooked and cleaned and washed clothes for everyone, I helped My Granny to get up and sown to her bedside toilet, I gave Her insulin shots, I helped her bath and get dressed everyday. I was up and down with Her all hours of the night and that meant missing a lot of school. So I guess I got the Caregiving Bug at a very young age, but there was no doubt at the age of 10 what I wanted to do with my life. A Nurse! That what I wanted to be and I told everyone. But in High School I became very ill. I was later diagnosed with a Patuitary Tumor. I jumped 100 lbs in less than a years time. Has the years went by My weight continued to increase until one day I got up and the scales read 424 lbs!! The doctors wanted me to have Gastric Bypass Surgery….Well I refused for years to have this surgery as the years past my health continued to decline, (heart problems, sleep apnea, diabetes, manic depression and even endometrial cancer) I could no longer care for myself at all. Then the Doctors put it to me like this….Either You have the Surgery or you die within the next year! So needless to say I opted for the Surgery, but not without life threatening complications. Two months after the surgery I almost die of malnutrition and dehydration. My wonderful family and Church Family and other Church started Praying for me and I was anointed at my Home Church and so here I am today 218 lbs less and…

I have several academic and professional goals that will result in my success in a future career and in life in general. Firstly, my immediate goal is to finish high school while maintaining or improving my GPA and my class rank. My next goal is to move on to college, where I plan on having an above-average GPA in order to get accepted into my first choice four-year university where I can continue my education. I have learned that the more education a scholar receives, the greater likelihood of a more successful career there is. Because of this, my ultimate academic aspiration is to earn a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in International Justice. While pursuing this degree, another goal of mine is to study abroad in order to be immersed in another culture, and to see how I react when I am out of my comfort zone.…

Since I was a child I was always fascinated by heroes and the things they did to save and help people .From Spiderman to batman to superman I had seen it all and I wanted to be like them, powerful and respected. During my childhood years I had also encountered the most frequent asked question “ what do you want to be when you grow up?” no matter who asked the question the answer was always the same, superhero. Being Superhero was my dream until a couple years later my grandfather got sick and died. From the death of my grandparent I realised that superheroes were not real because they did not save my grandparent from his death. During this time of grief I wondered if I could have done anything to save my grandfather from death. Since that day on I was interested to learn about the human body, how death can occur and how to live longer. Years passed on and I tried different courses but nothing changed my mind. I took many biology and chemistry courses in middle and high school, where I was interested in learning new things and was amazed at how organs function in the human body. I was always fascinated to anatomy and living things. I understand that medical filed is my passion. I want to study for medicine and participate in research to find cure for many diseases. I am confident that after finishing medicine I will be able to help people and laso support my future family. I would like to have my own house , I know that achieving my goals needs a lot of wore gut I am positive that I will…
