What Is Your Cultural Identity
You say I have this one important thing. Is it the way I use my slang? How about the way I spell my name. You claim it as your own, but some of us have never known. You're not the only one trust me. It's just that some of us have never known our own cultural identity. Cultural identity is not just who you are but how you act, what you do, or even your family and friends can transmit into your cultural identity. Your cultural identity doesn't have to just be one thing it can be a mix. My cultural identity reflects my family and my friends because we all think differently and get fed different points of view each and everyday.

Part of my cultural identity is to be kind and giving to all people. While i'm at home a lot of the time my parents are always on me to be respectful. That is how they grew

Sometimes my mom makes really good beef stew, which I love. That really shows the side of my mom which transmits to me from the irish, which is where her past relatives are from. My dad on the other hand with his past relatives being mexican really enjoys a good taco every now and then. Because of this I find myself in the middle really liking both and getting a feel for my past relatives and I where I come from. This is important to me because i want to know where come from and what they were like.

last but not least I feel the fashion is another big part of my cultural identity. You may not think that your fashion or what you wear is part of your cultural identity, but it is. What you wear reflects your person likes and interest. You may be girly so you like to wear dresses. Maybe you like bands so you wear band tee’s. For me i enjoy wearing both.
