What love is and its effect on my life Love is one of the most wonderful feelings that someone can ever experience. The desires to be loved are human traits. Everyone is in search of love throughout life and love is all around you. Love means very different things to different people. All it takes is recognition and inspiration with the right person. Love for some people can be romantic, sexual and unconditional, existing between family members, a deity, partners, inanimate objects and fictional characters. Loving thyself is the main “Mantra”, and driving force of the universe. But you cannot love anyone, if you don’t love yourself. Because love is an action of reacting on one’s emotions none of these are right or wrong. Love is the most powerful and crucial phase of life. It’s crucial when searching for a partner of any description. Being they married, cohabitating, boyfriend and girlfriend, straight, gay young or old. It’s of mutual understanding and respect. Marriages and partnerships are built on common ground being as deep as religious beliefs or finding that you love the same film, book, or restaurant. This kind of love is reliant on some kind of chemistry in the moment that you’re in together. It’s called love at first sight, knowing the minute they set their eyes on each other that they want to be with that person. But something built on common interest and understanding must be stronger. As a young baby is born he or she is endowed with parental love and the parents love for the child can also be described as love at first sight. Its natural instinct and this love can start before the child is born. The child also receives this kind of love from its siblings and peers. As the child grows be coming of age their circle of love widens and friend become the important milestones in their lives. We all love our true friends that stood by us in thick and thin of life. Because love is the greatest gift we can give or receive. God love is the greatest gift we can receive and should give that same love to others. Love can help you overcome difficult times that we face in life. Love can turn frowns into smiles; it can mend a broken heart. When I’m feeling sad about something a love one or sibling did to hurt my feelings God’s love makes me smile again. When my boyfriend broke up with me, I felt sad but my friends supported me and now I am coping. I am more focused and looking towards my future because God loves me and they loved me enough to make sure that I am alright. Love can turn all of ugliness in the world into the most beautiful portrait we could ever have the pleasure to behold. With poverty, sickness, homelessness, and death; love can convert all of these circumstances. When I was blessed finally because of my genetic disorders which made me disabled. I received a disability pension from the state. I spent all of my back money, which left me broke. Because of my mistakes I became homeless and because of my diseases, I was put on my death bed numerous times. I wouldn’t be here today, I’m now blessed with a nice home, peaceful environment, my health is in better condition and now I am prosperous because of someone’s love for me. If each of us loves and contributes more together we can become the reality we’re reaching for and as potent as love is it can only work if we choose to allow it to. Anger is normal, but holding onto it indefinitely isn’t really necessary. Harsh words take just as much effort as kind ones do. Being impatient is what we’re all guilty of but patient is virtue. So when the grass isn’t greener on the other side concentrate on watering your own to get it just as green as someone else grass. Mistakes we all make them so when someone does forgive them. Never be revengeful because someone always gets hurt. Love because it’s less stress and heartache and less just about anything. Remember love is one of the most powerful feelings that someone can ever experience.

Classical Greek culture had a powerful influence on the Roman Empire, which carried a version of it to many parts of the Mediterranean region and Europe. Greek culture influenced the development of Roman civilization because at first Rome absorbed ideas from Greek colonists in southern Italy, and they continued to borrow from Greek culture after they conquered Greece. Ancient Greece has had an enormous amount of impact on culture in the western world. For this reason, Classical Greece is generally considered to be the seminal culture which provided the foundation of Western civilization. Rome conquered the Greek empire and its civilization, but Greek culture conquered imperial Rome. Furthermore, the Romans willingly replaced the relatively primitive Etruscan and Latin cultures with the far more nuanced and rich Greek culture, while keeping some aspects of their civilization present. The Greeks provided architecture, systems of government, and the religion of Rome. The spread of Greek culture from the Romans throughout the extent of the Roman Empire caused the Romans to dominate the primitive Etruscan and Latin cultures with the far more superior and rich Greek culture. With the Greek influence, and the primal Etruscan and Latin influences present in these regions, the Romans became able to dominate the entire Mediterranean area, and develop into the largest empire during that era.…

Meanwhile, although, I have no idea what it feels like to be ‘in love’ with someone, I know it’s love when my dad cooks my mom’s favorite meal when she’s sick or when my grandpa paints my grandma’s toenails because she can no longer bend over due to her arthritis.
