President George Washington showed that he had personal limitations, and that nobody should go past them. No third term for presidents. He knew that two terms for a President would be enough for one person. This is why he didn't take a third term, they just got out of a monaarchy, and they don't want to back to a similar government style. This two seperate term style set the perecedent for all future Presidents. Three terms would make a leader have too much power and get obsessed with the job, thus making his decisison the right call.
A persons ideals are a big influence in the type of leader that someone will be. If they have good, strong ideals; they will be a good, strong leader.
