A good teacher always has a sense of purpose. She chooses very carefully the teaching program and adjusts it to the needs of his students. Children always come first and that`s why the decision she makes are based on how they will affect them. She shares experience with other teachers and thus is always learning new things.
It is very important for a teacher to be a good communicator. He doesn`t just stand in front of the class and lecture but tries to establish a dialogue and to find the best group activities in which every student to be involved. Discussion systematically coaching is the things, which make the process of teaching more interesting and challenging so that all students attend classes and participate actively.
The good teacher works with all students. One of my pen friend told me how her English teacher tolerates only students who are good at English or those who have special interest in the subject. Towards the rest of the class my friend says she`s very exacting. She gives home works and tests without bothering to ask about difficulties. She doesn`t try to explain it and as a result many students keep getting bad marks.
I firmly believe teachers shouldn`t forget that all students no matter of their color, race or gender have equal ability to study. Different students have different learning systems. Some can learn things easily while others need to spend more time over a given task. That`s why it is advisable for a teacher to know his students individually so that he can remember what kind of problems they have and find the right way to help them.
There`s no doubt that teachers have immense influence on their students. That`s why it is their responsibility to find the best approach of teaching and make classes more amusing and interesting.

A great teacher must be fair to absolutely everyone. This includes treating every student with the same respect; having no favourites. Teachers who do this will almost always receive that respect in return from the students. This helps the class function well so the student will learn more. They also create fair guidelines and rules for the classroom. Along with these come reasonable punishments in case they are broken. A great teacher is understanding and knows when to bend the rules a little. For instance, when a student has many extracurricular activities it may be difficult to get all there homework done on time; an excellent teacher would recognize this and talk to the student about it. If teachers are not fair with all of their students, they will not get the respect they desire. This in turn leads to difficulties in the classroom and disobliging students. The reason why students do not enjoy unfair teachers is that they do not understand that students have other obligations after class sometimes.…

Outstanding teachers are patient, compassionate, and understanding. Teachers need to be patient to deal with students asking the same questions over and over again or students who are too hyper for the classroom space. If a teacher has no patience they will most likely have high stress levels or possible heart attacks. Teachers also need to be compassionate in order to make students feel comfortable in the classroom. If a teacher isn't compassionate, the students will not feel okay with speaking their mind or participating in class.…

Secondly, a good teacher ought to give students feedback to their work so they improve. Thirdly, she should treat all students the same and in a respectful way and answer to all questions made despite being silly or cleaver. Furthermore, a good teacher should understand that all students do not learn the same way and as easily. An excellent teacher is not just someone who explains. Not someone who just demonstrates. An excellent teacher is someone who inspires. An excellent teacher goes the extra mile. They can take any individual and make them believe that their hopes and dreams are within their reach. An excellent teacher will not let a student walk away until every question is fully explained and completely understood. If the day ends and the student still has not understood the lesson plan, an extraordinary teacher would brainstorm. First, there is no hard and fast list that tells us who is a good teacher or who is not a good teacher. However, there are traits that excellent teachers have in common. These are not the usual qualities such as being a good friend or having a nice personality. These are what researchers from around the world have found when they watched those teachers whose students excelled once they left that teacher's classroom. Of course, not every teacher is going to be a skillful teacher for every child and a child spends only about 8 percent of the year in school or college, which means that regardless of the quality of teacher, a supportive home environment is essential to excellent learning.…
