One way they might do is a Bone Mineral Test, and with that it is like an X-Ray but it measures your spin and your hips. Another way they might do is a simple Blood Test. The last thing that they are going to do is a Bone Density test , and with that they're going to measure your bone density. That is how they're going to test you to see if you have Osteoporosis.
Is there anyway to treat Osteoporosis? Osteoporosis can not be cured. The doctors will give you some medications that you will have to take the rest of your life. The medication that you have to take is Alendronate, Risedronate, Ibandronate, Zoledronic Acid. People with Osteoporosis will need to do a lot of exercises to keep the bones strong so they don't easily break. So that is how they take care of Osteoporosis.
Does Osteoporosis affect any other body systems? Yes, there are three of them. THe first one is the Digestive System. Another one is the Endocrine System. The last one is the Nervous System. Those the Systems that Osteoporosis affects.
