Harriet Tubman’s Greatest Achievement
Background information on harriet tubman was born in 1822 in Dorchester county, Maryland. Tubman was babysitting at the age of five. She was work at the field and hauling logs at the age of twelve. Minty Ross married a free black man and became Harriet Tubman. In 1849 tubman made a life changing decision to run away unable to convince her husband to come with her. Her husband also said “if you run away I will turn you in”.,but she took off on her own. What was harriet tubman greatest achievement? Achievement can be evaluated by the amount of risk,the time devoted and the number people helped. Harriet tubman accomplishments such as Underground Railroad ,caring for poor people in her home and Civil War nursing. Harriet tubman greatest achievement however was the Combahee River raid because in one single night, June 2,1863 she rescued 800 hundred slaves.

What did harriet tubman do ? she made eight trip in the united state over the course of ten years she rescued around thirty-eight fugitives.. Another of harriet tubman accomplishment was cared for poor people in her home. What did harriet tubman do? She care people with disabilities and people with no money in her home with no money herself.. Yet another of harriet tubman accomplishments was civil war nursing. What did harriet tubman do? She care for wounded soldier in the during the Civil War . these action s meet the criteria for greatness: harriet put herself at personal risk devoted much time and help many people however the Combahee River raid was was her greatest
