My dear teachers,
Judges Commission,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
My name is Pacharee Simsamer. I am now studying in Mathayom 3 of Benjamamaharaj Mini-English Program. It is a great privilege and honor for me to be a representative of Ubon Ratchathani Province to join an exciting speech contest today. I am very pleased to talk about a topic that is near and dear to my head and my heart : What I would like to be in the future . I think this is important to you as well. Now, Let me ask you this : Have you any idea about what to do in the future? [pause] .If you still do not have one, why don’t you think now? For the next 3 minutes, I’d like to share with you about it.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We must remember the saying, “one cannot choose to born, but can choose to be”. This saying force us to learn to control our future, of course, we can do it. I hope all of you may have your goals already. For me, if I am asked I can tell you that I want to be a dentist. Maybe you give me a question why? Of course, I am pleased to tell you that the dentist is one of the most important occupation which is still needed to serve the people. It also gives me a good chance to know how to take care of my own teeth and suggest how to have maintenance care to the patients, especially those who are poor in a remote area. You know, for the last 2 years, I had to pay a lot of money to adjust my teeth. That was very expensive. All right, this is my future ambition that I must make it true.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Before concluding my speech, let me remind you of what I want to be. As I hope you will recall, I believe that all people live on hope and hope that tomorrow will be better than today. I hope you will succeed in your future ambition. I wish you well. I have to end my speech here. Thank you for listening.. I appreciate your kind
