I want to write about this experience because a lot of things have since this event and that i've learned through this point in my life.It was May 27,2009, the sun was burning, i felt like i was melting.I remember seeing my family members with sad teary eyes.It was my last day living in Dominican Republic .I was years old at that time, i was so excited to come to America but at same time i was i wanted to stay in my country.When i got to America everything was different, the streets decently pave.The houses;different family,separated floors.You could hear every step somebody took from upstairs.During my time here the language
I remember the first day of school.I was so excited and nervous at the same, feeling like i had a pit in my stomach.Me and my dad were doing a line that was for the new students. There was a chubby girl with braces and long hair with her dad in the line that was for the kids who were already enrolled in the school.My dad started making conversation with the girl’s dad talking about how it was my first time going to school in the United States. After less than one hour i was put in a class.I noticed that my new teacher did not speak or understand spanish. I remember sitting in the middle row of the classroom and the teacher talking to everyone but it sounded like gibberish to me.At that moment i felt like an outsider, like i wasn't supposed to be there.That moment when everything you’ve learned was forgotten. As i listen to the teacher i was trying to understand the words that sounded familiar to spanish but i had no success. I felt like going back to my country and stay living there,where nobody looked at you weird because you couldn't understand the language.I was so focus on that problem with not
